Weddings Mission Inn

Being a riverside wedding photographer, I find that one of the most picturesque backdrops in riverside is the Mission Inn.Mission Inn at Night

Originally built in 1876 as the Glenwood, a two-story 12-room adobe boarding house, the Inn has gradually developed into a Riverside landmark boasting an assemblage of arcades and gardens, turrets and domes, flying buttresses and spiraling staircases. It also houses fine art and Spanish cannons, stained glass and ceramic tile, saints and dragons, bells and wrought iron all of which make an exceptional backdrop for any bride or wedding photographer seeking a departure from the traditional southern california wedding backdrop.

With so many unique photo opportunities, I would recommend if you are planning a Mission Inn wedding, that you hire a photographer that has experience photographing at the location so that you do not miss photo opportunities in the areas not often seen if you are just visiting. In addition, you may want to consider a photogrpaher who can photograph in low light situations since there are plenty of areas in the Mission Inn that are not well lit and using flash can take away from the overall mood.
