Winter Scenic Landscape Photography in Big Bear, California

You might think this image was captured in the Great Northwest. However, it was taken right here in Southern California. Big Bear to be exact. It's been several weeks since we had the winter storm with all the snow fall, but in this photo of the week, you can see that Big Bear lake is still iced over (but I wouldn't ice skate on it). Photo was taken on the cut off road between Big Bear going toward Fawnskin looking south on to the North facing slopes.
